About Sprout

Sprout helps you understand how you’re doing. It turns questionnaires that doctors and researchers use into tests you can take in a few minutes, explains your result in plain words, and suggests self-help that fits it.

Why Sprout

Most people who wonder whether they’re anxious, low, burnt out or just tired never take a proper test. The good questionnaires sit in research papers and clinics, and the results come as a bare number.

Sprout brings those questionnaires to everyone. Each test says which questionnaire it uses and takes a few minutes. Your result then says what your answers mean in everyday language, how it compares with before when you take it again, and what you could try this week.

It’s for self-help and self-reflection. It isn’t medical care, and a result is a starting point, not a diagnosis.

What we hold to

  • Tests you can trust

Every test is built on a questionnaire that doctors and researchers use, named on the test’s page.

  • Plain words

Results explain what your answers mean, without jargon and without scaring you.

  • Private by design

No ads and no selling your data. Your answers and journal are stored encrypted, and you can delete everything.

  • Help, not a diagnosis

Self-help to try, and a clear way to real help when you need more than an app.

On every device

Sprout is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, where everything you enter stays on your device, and it works here in the browser too. The tests and their scoring are the same everywhere.
